Harnessing the collective power of academic insight, private sector perspective and public sector support to propel Niagara’s economy into the future.

From cutting-edge bio scientists to digital media game changers, Niagara excels at supporting technical talent and enterprise in a way that propels businesses from surviving to thriving on the global stage.

Niagara has a proud history of innovation and strong networks between industry, academia and government that are committed to keep that legacy alive via our region’s incubators, innovation centres and research institutes.

In a 2016 study of business competitiveness in 115 North American business centres, Niagara Canada ranked 18th in research and development.
