Cannabis tourism emerging as a new niche in Niagara

Source: Niagara Falls Review

Cannabis tourism is a growing industry that is finding a home in Niagara. The city of Niagara Falls is in the process of opening its first cannabis-friendly hotel, which will be located on Lundy’s Lane and will be called the Pink Elephant Inn.

The property will have 37 rooms and residents will receive cannabis as part of their room rental. They plan on having a growing operation on site and host other cannabis related events for guests to learn more about the industry as a whole. The Pink Elephant Inn plans to open later in the year.

The recreational cannabis industry has grown since it was legalized by the federal government last October. Cannabis tourism is an emerging business opportunity in a new and competitive sector.
