Pride and momentum were the focus of Walker Sendzik, the mayor of St. Catharines, State of the City address on Thursday evening.
There are so many exciting things coming to St. Catharines in sports, business, and investment that all contribute to the inclusive plan to make St. Catharines a destination people will want to live and play in.
He took no credit but put the city’s momentum and success at the feet of businesses that are investing in the community and a previous city council that took the risk to establish the Meridian Centre and FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre.
“This is where we want to go,” he said. “It is our vision as a community that we want to be one of those places people point at and say, that’s one of the best places to live in North America.” – The St. Catharines Standard.
