With the latest round of funding announcements from the federal government, construction for 2021 Canada Summer Games can begin.
The Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, François-Philippe Champagne, committed $29 million in federal funding to the Games. It matches $29 million contributed by the provincial government in mid-August. Sports Canada is providing an additional $3 million for the projects.
