Jill Croteau

Jill has over a decade of experience in physician recruitment and retention, making her a key contributor to Niagara’s medical community. With expertise in human resource management, marketing, project management, and community engagement, she has played a vital role in attracting global talent to the region.

With roots in the north, Jill graduated from Lakehead University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She earned her CHRL designation after gaining experience in corporate and agency recruitment roles in Calgary, Grimsby, and St. Catharines.

Jill is a two-time award-winning physician recruiter, having received the Ontario Medical Association Community Leadership Award in 2019 and the Canadian Society of Physician Recruitment Leadership Award in 2017 for her impactful work addressing the primary care shortage in Niagara. In 2022, she was also recognized as a Notable in Health Care through Revel Magazine.

Alongside her work with the Niagara Region, Jill co-founded the Ontario Physician Recruitment Alliance and has held leadership roles with the Canadian Society of Physician Recruitment. She has led national recruitment teams across Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Ireland. Jill is deeply committed to connecting Niagara residents with essential primary care services.
