Felix Chinen
Felix is a business professional with a keen interest in advancing the electric mobility ecosystem and promoting the use of renewable energy to decarbonize the global economy. As a member of the Niagara Economic Development team, Felix is dedicated to fostering economic growth and development in the region’s Electric Vehicle (EV) and energy storage sector. His efforts include cultivating strategic partnerships, attracting investments, and supporting the expansion and development of businesses in these sectors. Felix’s goal is to position the Niagara region as a leader in the electric mobility sector and energy storage.
With over 15 years of industry experience, Felix has worked with businesses across North America, South America, and the Middle East, primarily in manufacturing, aviation, and metals and minerals industries. During this time, he helped companies explore new marketing opportunities and develop innovative products. In recent years, Felix has honed his expertise in the EV and energy storage ecosystem, focusing on critical minerals sourcing, battery technologies, EV infrastructure, and energy storage systems.
Felix holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from McGill University, with dual concentrations in Finance and Strategy. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) under the PRINCE2 methodology.
