Colleen Saunders

Colleen’s journey with Niagara Region began in 2021, but her connection to Niagara dates back to 2009 when she became a resident. Her initial role with the Region was in the Covid Information Department, and she later transitioned to Customer Service. Over time, she witnessed the department’s growth and transformation into a centralized customer service reception for the entire region.

With many years of experience in hospitality, Colleen has had a range of roles including Guest Service Manager and Special Events Manager with Vintage Hotels, Sales and Marketing Administration at 124 on Queen Hotel, and Hospitality Administrative Coordinator at Ravine Vineyard. In these roles, she managed special events and corporate conferences from conception to execution.

Colleen has a Bachelor of Applied Business in Hospitality Operations Management from Niagara College. Her education, extensive experience in the hospitality industry, and roles at Niagara Region have been instrumental in her professional journey.
