Niagara Children’s Business Fair supports youth entrepreneurship

The Niagara Children’s Business Fair brought together young entrepreneurial talent from across Niagara on November 9th at the Balls Falls Centre for Conservation. The Town of Lincoln was a proud supporter and partner, where supporting local entrepreneurship – especially with youth – is a key economic development priority.

The event supported local youth encouraging them to think like entrepreneurs through creativity and outside the box thinking. Building on their interests and talents, children aged 6 -14 from Lincoln and the Niagara region had an opportunity to launch their own start-up business and showcase it to the community. Of the many that applied, 35 were chosen to participate in the event and were taught essential skills such as developing a brand, marketing strategies and customer service.
