Premier Ford Pushes for Quicker Delivery of Pandemic Pay

In response to a question at his daily press conference on Tuesday about the delayed delivery of pandemic pay to some eligible workers, Ontario Premier Doug Ford urged employers to begin paying pandemic pay to eligible workers immediately.

The temporary pay bump will apply retroactively to April 24 and last until Aug. 13, paying eligible workers an extra $4 an hour, with the potential for additional lump sum payments.
