CannTrust has recently announced that a cultivation and processing permit under Health Canada Cannabis Regulations was amended to include the final 20% of its Phase 2 expansion. Under this permit, CannTrust can now fully utilize its entire 450,000 square-foot facility in Pelham.
CannTrust is an award winning, federally regulated and licenced, cannabis producer. The exciting announcement from Health Canada allows CannTrust to reach its annualized capacity goal of 50,000 kg at the facility. By the second half of 2020, CannTrust is planning on producing between 100,000 and 200,000 kg of annual product.
