Provincial Government announces $29 million in funding for 2021 Canada Summer Games

The Ontario government has announced that they have agreed to a $29 million cost-shared investment for the 2021 Canada Summer Games that will be hosted by the Niagara region.

Funding will support facilities at Canada Games Park in Thorold, the Henley Rowing Centre in St. Catharines, baseball fields in Welland and Niagara Falls; softball fields in Grimsby, West Lincoln, and Wainfleet; and upgrades to cycling courses.

The games will be held from August 6-21, 2021 in Niagara.
