Hydro One and Port Colborne announce $30 million refurbishment project

Hydro One has announced that they plan to invest approximately $30 million to refurbish Port Colborne’s Transmission Station to improve the reliability of electricity in the city. The refurbishment project and upgrades are intended to create a second source of power and greater long-term reliability of service to the city.

This infrastructure investment helps to keep Port Colborne’s power supply stable and reliable for residents and businesses in the area.
