Kate Campbell, contractor and HGTV celebrity, is visiting 2 Niagara Region schools on February 28th, educating students on careers in skilled trades.
Campbell believes there is a negative stigma around skilled trades that has to end, particularly for women. Encouraging young students to consider entering a career in skilled trades has increased in importance as a growing skills gap and labour shortage has impacted the sector.
