Grimsby’s Forty Creek Wins Whisky of the Year

A panel of 10 independent whisky experts have crowned Forty Creek the best whisky in Canada. The award was given at the annual Canadian Whisky Awards in Victoria, B.C. The 22-year-old Rye, distilled at the Forty Creek location in Grimsby, stood up against competition from across the country.

Also at the event, Forty Creek founder, John K. Hall was announced as the first member of the Canadian Whisky Hall of Fame. All awards results from the event can be found at Canadian Whisky.
