Economic Rapid Response Team launches second survey of Niagara businesses

As Niagara plans its recovery from COVID-19, Niagara’s Economic Rapid Response Team (ERRT) is reaching out to businesses affected by the pandemic to help inform that recovery through a brief online survey.

Over 2,500 Niagara businesses, from all sectors and municipalities, completed a previous survey in late March, which provided a strong baseline of data. A strong response to this updated survey will help create an accurate, up-to-the-minute picture of the economic impact of COVID-19 in Niagara, and the unique challenges businesses in our communities are facing.

The survey will close at 5 p.m. on Monday, May 25, and should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. All businesses in Niagara, regardless of size, sector or community, are invited to participate.

Established in March 2020 and composed of economic development officials from across Niagara, the ERRT has been working throughout the pandemic to gather critical information from Niagara businesses and connect them with provincial and federal supports and information.

The team has also created an up-to-date website that offers the latest updates and resources to support businesses through the pandemic, available at ERRT.niagararegion.ca.
