Community improvement programs (CIP) and a pro-development approach are paying off for Welland, the city said recently.

Since 2015, the city has seen 1.5 million square feet of new industrial development and two of its CIPs have seen $1.2 million in grants given out, through 2017-18, leveraging $14 million in private investment projects.
